  • How do I notify Ivins Irrigation Company if I am moving to a new address?

It is important to notify the Company when your address changes.  All correspondence is mailed to the address we have on file.  Send us a letter or postcard too .   If you have access to a computer you can fill out the information on our "Contact Us" page.  Please include your Account Number. This number can be located on your Assessment Billing Notice.  Include your name as it appears on your notices or stock certificate.  If your account is in the name of a company or trust please provide that information.  Please list your new address in the address fields and enter your "Old Address" in the Comment field.  If your phone number has changed please update that information as well.

  • What do I do if I am going to sell my shares?

In order to sell your shares you need to have your original certificate of ownership.  Photocopies of certificates are not permitted.  Fill out the information on the back of the original certificate completely.  Print the name of the person or entity to whom you are selling your shares.  It is important that this be the legal name that will appear on the new certificate to be issued.  Indicate how many shares you are transferring to them.  If you are only selling part of the certificate shares then you will need to list yourself for the remainder of the shares so that a new certificate can also be issued back to you.  This information needs to be signed and dated in front of a Notary.  A Notary Acknowledgement Form can be printed from our website (See Forms).  This form can be signed, notarized and attached to the certificate.  All certificates must be notarized.  Once the certificate is notarized you are ready to call or email for an appointment to drop off the certificate.  New Certificates are approved and signed  by the Board of Directors at their regular monthly Board Meeting which is usually held on the first Monday of each month. There will be a $40.00 charge for each new certificate issued payable to IVINS IRRIGATION COMPANY.

Certificates are your proof of ownership of stock in Ivins Irrigation Company. it is important to search every possible place where the original certificate might be located.   Check safety deposit boxes, all family members, etc to determine the location of the original Certificate.  If you are unable to find your certificate you must post a Lost Securities Bond. This can be done through most insurance companies.  Contact Ivins Irrigation Company to receive a Lost Certificate Indemnity Agreement.  Once you have reviewed and signed that agreement and have your bond you can call the company secretary to set up an appointment to drop off the documents.   A new Certificate will be issued and approved by the Board of Directors at their regular annual Board Meeting.
